Shipping Options

  1. Priority Shipping: 1–3 business days – R155
  2. Courier (Standard): 3–5 business days – R108
  3. Courier (Economy):  (temporarily unavailable)
  4. Local Pickup – FREE
  5. Free Shipping* – FREE

*Please allow an extra 1–2 days for delivery to KZN, outlying, or regional areas.

Dispatch Times

Delivery times are calculated from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Orders are dispatched Monday – Thursday

Local Pickup

If you’re near Mossel Bay (Garden Route), you’re welcome to collect your order in person.
We’ll send you directions and a location pin once your parcel is ready.

Free Shipping

Free shipping is available on all orders over R950.00 (excludes wholesale orders).
Orders will be sent via PUDO locker-to-door service (delivery in 4–7 business days).

International Shipping

We currently only deliver within South Africa due to high international shipping costs.
However, if you’d like to arrange your own international courier to collect your parcel, you are welcome to do so.

Important Notes

  • Couriers may occasionally experience delays due to exceptional circumstances. We’ll keep you updated and work to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Banana Safari is not responsible for lost parcels.
    If you would like to add insurance to your parcel, please contact us to make arrangements.

 

 

Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at Banana Safari.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. Please take a moment to read our return and refund policies and process below.

Timeframe

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@bananasafari.com Please note that returns will need to be sent to our office, at your own cost.  Or if you prefer that we organise collection, we will do so through PUDO’s Door-to-Locker service for R109 one way.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards or custom products such as special orders or personalised items

Exchanges 
Please use the size charts with individual garment measurements before ordering.

If you ordered the incorrect size, we will gladly exchange the garment for the correct size (providing that we do have the item in stock), but please note that you, as the customer will be liable for the courier costs involved, both to send back the item as well as to receive the new one.

We can arrange collection of the item, and the delivery of the new item, for R158, with PUDO services, or you are welcome to arrange your own courier.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
